  2. Malena va de compras • Malena loves to go shopping. • She not only enjoys shopping in department stores and shopping centers, but in open-air markets as well. • Malena is also a very careful shopper and tries to take advantage of sales buying only reduced priced items.

  3. Let’s go with Malena on a brief shopping adventure and learn the names of the places she shops and help her find a birthday present for her friend Antón. In contrast with English, in Spanish, adjectives follow the nouns they modify and agree with them in gender and number: una blusa roja los vaqueros negros
