  2. Purpose Participants will clearly understand the relevant of partnering with Faith Based Organization

  3. How it works with UNHCR • Implementing partner (LCL) submitted a project proposal • The proposal is develop into sub agreement

  4. How it works continued • UNHCR signed a sub agreement with implementing partner (LCL) under a term of agreement • The implementing partner (LCL) has to comply with UNHCR set standard

  5. How it works continued • Fund is disbursed into the account of the implementing partner (LCL)

  6. Accountability • Implementing partner (LCL) provide narrative quarterly • Financial report is submitted to UNHCR twice a year

  7. Monitoring & Evaluation • The project is monitor through a joint monitoring mission along with UNHCR and the implementing partner (LCL) • Project evaluation is done jointly with implementing partner (LCL) and UNHCR in project location

  8. Challenge • Complying with UNHCR set standards

  9. Lessons Learnt • The organization is more community based and target focus • Reliable in terms of accountability • Projects implemented are more sustainable
