Career and Educational Options • Work: Full or part-time • Apprentice programs: Licensing programs in skilled areas (i.e. electrician, plumbing, masonry, welding) • Technical schools: 1 year certificate programs or 2 year associate degrees designed to prepare for specialized employment (i.e. massage therapist, veterinary assistant)
Junior/Community Colleges and branch campuses of 4 year universities: 2 year programs to prepare for employment requiring an associate degree OR transfer programs which parallel the freshman and sophomore offerings at the four year colleges and universities. • 4 year colleges and universities: programs leading to a bachelor’s degree • Military: All branches offer skilled training, educational packages and travel
