  2. Aim: To judge the best monarchs. Starter: What do you think makes a good monarch? Good Monarch You are the weakest link….goodbye!

  3. The story All six monarchs have been off on a jolly ride seeing the sites of England. However all is about to change. Due to technical difficulties the balloon is going down, and in order to stay aloft long enough to reach land "someone" is going to have to jump overboard. Its now up to you to decide who should stay on and return to safely to run the country.

  4. The plan. • You will work in groups to find out as much information as you can about your monarch. • In the first 15 mins you will use text books and lightening time to collect information about your monarch. • Then for 12mins you will all will write a speech in your books explaining why their monarch should not be thrown out of their balloon. • After that Sir will pick a person at random to read their speech, other groups will make notes. We will go round the room and then the VOTE!!!!!! Who will survive, you decide!

  5. Plenary Explain in your books about who the class chose to stay in the balloon and why.
