MNCs in Developing Nations • Many invest money and technology in developing nations, and may provide jobs to those who produce or sell products. • MNCs work to reduce environmental, political, or cultural risks to expand their markets.
Problems w/ MNCs in Developing Nations • MNCs often pay low wages to workers in developing countries • Take job opportunities from semi-skilled workers • Use up natural resources • Majority of money is returned to large, developed nations (such as the USA)
