  2. First things to consider: - Do want to serve your country and at the same time meet wonderful people, travel, learn discipline and lifelong career skills?

  3. - Earn money for College?- Are you willing to put in the physical as well as mental requirements?

  4. Speak to a Recruiter: • This step is very important (if you are under 18 speak with your parents first) • Seek out your local recruiting office and speak to “ALL BRANCHES” of the Armed Forces:

  5. Choose from: • Army • Air Force • Navy • Marines • Coast Guard

  6. Get Prepared for: • Taking the ASVAB- this is a written test to help determine basic knowledge and technical skills

  7. Get Physical • Running • Sit ups • Push ups • Pull ups

  8. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA • PASS DRUG TEST • CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK • PASS HEIGHT AND WEIGHT STANDARDS

  9. YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY!!! • BE PREPARED FOR A WONDERFUL AND CHALLENGING CAREER!!! • NO MATTER WHAT BRANCH OF ARMED FORCES YOU CHOOSE , YOU WILL BE PART OF AN ELITE FORCE THAT WILL IS PREPARED TO SERVE AND DEFEND YOUR COUNTRY!!!
