However, there’s always a side in every city which tourists need to beware of. Please note, every city has its risks and you as a tourist must be well aware and preventive about it, in order to stay Arab readily away from hassles. Dress code- Although, Dubai is known as one of the most westernized cities, it still has its limitations since, it follows the Muslim country rules. Dress code is more about what not to wear- short sleeves, shorts etc. must not be worn. This is a good rule because of the heat they have all year round. Cover your arms, feet, everything in order to not get sunburns at all. Social rules- The social rules are basically for couples- people must not show public display of affection like holding hands, kissing etc. Moreover, if a man want to spend a night in the hotel with each other, it is a must for them to produce a marriage certificate. Unmarried couples cannot stay together in a hotel room- however, you have options open like overnight stay in cruises in Dubai with luxury rooms, exceptional food as well as ambiance! There is a problem with an influx of prostitutes in Dubai, and usually if a non-tourist woman is solo, she could be mistaken for a prostitute. Alcohol- One fun fact about Dubai- it’s mostly a dry city- not many places sell alcoholic drinks (it’s a Muslim city.) However, many do keep wine in store for tourists like you. Dubai’s nightlife is the best, though. However, obscenity is intolerated and you may get arrested for misbehaviour. Above all, drink and drive is completely unacceptable.
Extreme heat- Dubai has high temperatures all year round and is very hot and humid. Honestly speaking, it is completely not advised for tourists to visit the city during summers unless you rent a cruise with air conditioning facilities, good food and so on. Cottons are recommended to be worn and the right time to visit Dubai is sometime around October. Transportation- As of today, women have been allowed to drive across the land which is wonderful! However, they still have limitations. Rules with regard to not eating while traveling, drinking and driving, sleeping on-board, etc. are common rules which all must follow. The most recommended mode of transportation is cruising in Dubai- you don’t need maps, cars, rental services etc. for that. Moreover, you can spend time with people, socialize, build bonds etc. very conveniently. Medication Warnings- Prescriptions are a must if you wish to buy medicines in Dubai. In some cases, higher authorities also run blood tests in order to check for drug abuse. The objective behind this rule is good- to track down usage and abuse of drugs and other substances.
