Feb. 28-Arrive Belize City, evening tour of city • March 1-Travel to Caye Caulker (view the world’s second largest barrier reef) • March 2-Church and travel to Belmopan • March 3-6-Field experiences in the schools (UB lab school, Kuxlin-Ha Mayan Primary, Belmopan Baptist High School) • March 7-Hosanna House, Blue Hole National Park • March 8-Travel to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins; Village Market; return to Belize City • March 9-Return to Kentucky Draft Itinerary-Spring BreakFebruary 28-March 9

Nursery- ages 2 to 3 • Pre-Kindergarten – ages 3 to 4 • Infant 1 – 5 years • Infant 2 – 6 years • Primary includes: Strand 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 • High School begins around age 12 – 14 • Junior College begins around age 16 • Compulsory school attendance until age 14 • Must pass test to go to high school for placement • Students with special needs are educated separately but moving towards inclusion Education Levels
