Who We Are • A not-for-profit company (“Social enterprise”) • Started 2006, as a language school • 2 staff, 15 volunteers • Close connection to Point Europa – bigger NGO in the area

EU Projects • For young people, via “Youth in Action” • Older people (50+) via “Senior Volunteering” • Learning Partnerships • Large scale, Lifelong Learning projects
Learning Partnerships 8 projects completed or currently operating: • Wide range of themes: migrants, childcare, gardening, nutrition, unemployment • Excellent way to engage with our community
Theatregration ... http://eff.org.uk/contact-us/ Effervescent Social Alchemy: Effervescent has developed a national reputation for delivering outstandingly successful solutions to difficult social challenges, from reengaging young people not in education, employment or training and supporting young people with mental ill health to recover faster and more fully, to safeguarding the emotional welfare of Looked After children and young people. The opportunities we create are highly valued by participants and our voluntary attendance rate is more than double the national average.
Plymouth Theatre Royal • People's Company • Weekly theatre workshops at TR2 and annual productions in the Drum Theatre. • Our Space • A theatre group for people who feel socially excluded. • Dialogues • A range of projects with Refugees and asylum seekers including theatre and performance groups with children and adults, a creative arts group for isolated women and the coordination of Refugee Week in Plymouth. • Funky Llama • A programme which enables adults with learning disabilities to be creative and share their art with mainstream audiences through creating social performance and music events. • Work Experience • Opportunities to get hands on experience of working at the Theatre Royal
