The project is being realized in the Department of International and European Law. The stuff of the department includes 5 professors and 9 associate professors of International Law. By its scientific stuff, the Department is unique among International Law schools in Russia. • The tasks of the Project as they have been considered at the sitting of the Department meet the objectives of its development. These tasks as well as ways and means to fulfill them have been also discussed within the group of professors directly involved in the Projects activity under the supervision of the Head of the Department Professor Adel Abdullin.
The foundation for the Joint Master Program shall be general courses of International Law (taught by professors A. Abdullin, R.Valeev, G.Kurdjukov); International Private Law (professors L. Mingazovand N.Tyurina) and European law (professors G. Shaikhutdinova and R.Davletgildeev). These courses have been traditionally a part of the curriculum in the Faculty of Law. • A number of special courses matching the area of the Master Program have already been worked out, others are under way.
We propose the following courses. • Compulsory: • - International commercial contracts (N.Tyurina) • - International civil procedure and commercial arbitration (A.Nizamiev) • - Property rights and investment in International Law (L.Mingazov) • - International payment and loans (M.Keshner) • - European labor Law (R. Davletgildeev). • - International legal protection of intellectual property rights (A.Abdullin)
Elective: • WTO Law (N.Tyurina) • International transportation of goods and passengers (R.Garipov) • International Taxation (Tax law) (A.Nizamiev) • Alternative: • The law of International Organizations (A.Abdullin) • International migration law (R.Davletgildeev).
Summary • The teaching material on International and European Law already available has been revised • The courses for the Master Program curriculum have been singled out • The teaching stuff for the Master Program has been designated • The issues of preparation work for the Project Conference in September 2014 have been pointed out.
