Sustaining ZERO injuries, ZERO illnesses and ZERO lost work days is the reward and result of each employees dedication to safety.
TOP THREE Performance • PetroSpect employees have rewarded themselves by working for 4.0 years without a recordable injury or illness. 11 years at ExxonMobil and 6 years at Chevron injury free. • PetroSpect employees have worked 825,000 safe work hours since our last injury. • PetroSpect employees have had 2 injuries over the last 5 years.
TOP THREE Objective • How do we sustain this outstanding safety performance? • Key Points: • We recognize that the employees are the key to success and they are our primary asset in sustaining our premier and outstanding performance recognition. • We recognize that 70% to 80% of all injuries and illnesses occur while performing tasks when the employee perceives the task to be low risk and high frequency. • We recognize that complacency and over confidence is real. • We listen to the employees and take into consideration their belief that “Programs of the Month” are short lived and do not add value. • We listen and work with our employees to determine “Where Our Next Injury” may occur.
