  6. Letter & Contribution Card The Letter gives a personal touch and provides the donor with reasons why they should give and what their money will be used for. The Contribution Card gives the donor donation options and more information on the organization.

  8. Health Services American Liver Foundation Country Western star Naomi Judd, now in remission after contracting hepatitis, is the American Liver Foundation’s national spokesperson. To capitalize on her popularity, LWRA created an annual “mini-campaign” for the ALF. The campaign typically includes an inspirational front-end premium, (or two), a testimonial to the importance of research, and a targeted gift upgrade request. The Campaign is one of the most successful undertaken by the ALF each year.

  9. Social Services Saint Francis Academy The Saint Francis Academy has been the voice of hope for children, youth, and families in crisis since 1945. This ministry has earned a commendable reputation for helping restore wholeness to lives shattered by abuse, neglect, chemical dependencies, gang affiliations, and conduct disorders. This package was part of the Thanksgiving donor acquisition campaign.

  10. Animal Rights Fund for Animals A leading animal rights and protection group, the Fund for Animals has a number of compelling programs to appeal to potential donors. To determine the best approach, we developed a multi-cell test grid that included theme, premium, and graphics tests. Response was strong across the board, but especially so in certain areas. The key variable in deciding roll-out strategy, however, was the fund’s own vision of where it wants to go.

  11. Advocacy Native American Rights Fund This "New Donor Welcome" package is what a donor receives after making a first contribution to the Native American Rights Fund. The package confirms in donors’ minds the wisdom of their decision to support the organization. Among its contents are a membership card, newsletter, and new donor survey. Packages like this, along with other techniques, help organizations get that crucially important second gift, thereby enhancing long term donor value and net revenue.
