Washing The Wool • Wool must be washed because of: • Lanolin • Vegetable Matter (Hay, etc.) • Dirt • Only Sheep’s wool has lanolin
Wool Processing • Wool needs to be carded to align the fibers for better spinning and a smooth yarn. Several methods are available:
