Empowerment:KMfacilitates social actors’ access to information (knowledge ≈ power) Capacity building: KM reduces learning costs, increases actions’ efficiency and support the institutionalization of thematic proposals within organizations and institutions (learning from others’ experiences). Results 2006-2009 OUTCOME Achievements Outcome No. 1: Annual Process of Thematic Analysis (topics selected by Members) • Consolidation of the methodological proposal for implementing the annual processes • Increasing demand of social actors for participating in the Annual Seminar • Three thematic processes concluded. Technical assistance for systems’ implementation. • Promotion of SDC involvement in the definition of the study outreach andmethodology, so as to foster study results’ institutionalization.
