Innovative and Essential Contracting Commodity Enterprise Contract (CEC)is an enterprise contractual solution to acquire state of the art, fully qualified, interoperable, compatible, and deployable hardware and software solutions. • CEC commercial IT hardware and ancillary services will include laptops, mobile tablets, servers, switches/routers, storage arrays/storage appliances, security platforms, installation services, warranty support, etc. • Awarding of up to three (3) contracts using a Small Business Set-Aside acquisition strategy, to include one ‘reserve’ award to a SDVOSB • Each of the IDIQ multiple award contracts will have a 5-yr base ordering period • Proposal evaluations/discussions ongoing • Award Forecast o/a 2nd Qtr FY13 • CEC PhaseII – Still in planning stages • CEC Ordering Portal Development • RFP Issued: Jan 9, 2013 • Proposals Due: Jan 25, 2013
Innovative and Essential Contracting Interagency Electronic Health Record (iEHR)is a single electronic medical record from the time a soldier enlists until their death, and will also provide common electronic medical applications and a common service bus for clinicians within DoD and VA. • Joint DoD and VA program that will be the world’s largest electronic health record system encompassing millions of beneficiaries • Overall cost of entire project over next 5 years is approximately $3B • Pharmacy Solution module • Draft PWS in development; Posting to FBO o/a 2nd Qtr FY13 • Acquisition milestones forecast pending approval of waiver authorizing VA to conduct acquisition under joint VA-DoD iEHR program
