  1. Sound dampening curtains If you have glass windows, cover them up with heavy sound dampening curtainsor even light; render ones with pelmets to muffle the sound.

  2. Band room Potted plants or huge urns may be placed in the room corners of the band room.

  3. Acoustic baffles This may be further improved by installing another window or glass pane in the windows opening next to the double glazed unit, and this is also known as secondary glazing and not to be baffled with acoustic baffles.
