BACKGROUND • Knowledge only qualification – the e-learning programme covers the entire content of unit 301 • Ofqual requirement to maintain/raise standards of teaching - centres must be seen to be actively promoting and providing CPD and improving quality assurance • New opportunity for ‘non NVQ’ centre staff – those who deliver and assess non NVQs could previously not access these qualifications • Ideal for all centre types – qualification is relevant for people carrying out assessments and quality assurance in most learning environments including FE, Adult Continuing Learning, Employers and Third Sector

ASSESSMENT • How this qualification will be assessed • City and Guilds have developed two options for the assessment of this qualification. • The tutor can select either the assignment activity which consists of a short answer question paper and a presentation or • The evolve test and professional discussion. • Centres also have the option of devising their own assessment activity if they whish following the guidance and gaining agreement with their Qualification consultant . • This is the summative assessment which the learner should complete at the end of the course/programme .
TAILORED LEARNING PROGRAMMES • Centres can create bespoke learning programmes mixing face-to-face with digital delivery and assessment. • Using e-volve assessment enables the full end-to-end digital experience • We will be developing bundles options to combine eTAQA and quals. • RRP for TAQA e-learning = £49 per learner, discounts available for multiple learners
