What can I learn today? • What services are available at the Curriculum Materials Library (CML)? • What services are available at the Main Library? • What services are available for online learners?
Mission of the CML: • To assist and support the professional growth of education students • To support the teacher education programs of UWF as partners in the learning process • To provide a wide variety of quality instructional materials for use in the Pre-K through grade twelve classrooms
CML: What’s there? Games, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVDs, realia, & PlayAways (what?)! Reference materials, atlases, & dictionaries School Board selected textbooks, & BOOKS of all kinds, of course!
And… 10 computer stations (including two very nice MACs) and campus printing Group study room Laptops & Kindles for checkout
And most importantly… WRITING Lab @ COPS/CML Research assistance from qualified student assistants or a research consultation with me, your librarian! *Days and hours vary by semester! *
Mission of the Pace Library: • To provide information-related resources and services to support the University of West Florida’s learning, teaching, research, and community service missions. • To inspire the individual and the intellect, encouraging personal and social growth through the acquisition of information and knowledge.
Pace Library, what’s there? • Reference, Government Documents, Interlibrary Borrowing Departments & University Archives and West Florida History Center • Library classroom • Paper-back collection, for light reading, and for your viewing pleasure the DVD collection on the first floor
And… • Book collections on the third and fourth floors and journals and magazines on the second floor. • Education (history, theory, and methods) on the third floor • Juvenile collection on the fourth floor
And… The SkyLab!! • To see more photos and learn more about the SkyLab, check out the SkyLab page! This is YOUR space! On the 5th floor, with quite a view, a good place to work and study.
