Key Terms • One drop rule- any African ancestry categorizes you as black • Racial democracy- belief that in Latin America racism does not exist because of the high rate of racial mixing • Latino/Latina- a person with origins in Latin America • Latin American- citizens of Latin American countries • Hispanic- a native speaker of Spanish
