THE EASTCHESTER EAGLES SALUTE THE UNITED STATES MILITARY AS PART OF THIS YEAR’S HOMECOMING CELEBRATION JOIN THE EAGLES IN SUPPORTING OPERATION GRATITUDE Every year, thousands of local volunteers form a human assembly line to produce 100,000+ care packages for our Military Members serving in harm's way; their Children left behind; Veterans; First Responders; homeless Military Families; Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers. Each package is addressed to an individual Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Coast Guardsman or Marine by name. The packages contain 50+ items including: Snack foods, entertainment items, toiletries, handmade scarves and bracelets & letters of appreciation. All package contents are donated by individuals, groups or companies that donate their products. Monetary donations are used for postage fees and production.  The goal is to assure our 200,000 service members currently deployed, 48,000 Wounded Warriors, 23 million Veterans and their families that they are not forgotten and give Americans the chance to express their appreciation to our Military and their families. OPERATION GRATITUDE donates 98 cents of every dollar donated to program services Twice invited by the Obama Admin to organize the assembly of 85,000 care kits in D.C.
