President: Kristen Slamaremail: apo.oe.president@gmail.com • Today we have a visitor: Dan Collier, who is the Section 50 Chair • Sign up for the Section 50 list serve, go to www.APOS50.org • Remember next week Alpha Alpha is visiting, we'll go to BDubs after the meeting • Reminders of upcoming events: • Nov 2 next week nominations for elections start - think about if y'all want to run • Nov 8 is Initiation- be there • Nov 16 are Elections - be there • Nov 22 is Thanksgiving week- no meeting • Nov 30 is changeover and last meeting of the semester

VP Community: Carly Wilsonemail: cwilson3@iwu.edu Upcoming events: • Festival of Trees opening night – Thursday, November 11th • 6-9 PM • Make sure the silent auction goes smoothly!   • Help set up winter village at CDM – Sunday, November 14th • 5:30-8:30 • You get to enjoy snacks and Christmas music! • Spa Day at Heritage of Care – Tuesday, November 16th • From 5-7 • Cards and Cocoa – Saturday, November 20th • Make them at OSF Medical Center on the 20th, GET HOT CHOCOLATE! • From 10-12 • Home Sweet Home Lunch - Sunday, November 21st • People will need to shop for the food and serve the food • Santa Pajama Party – Saturday, December 4th • 5:30-8:30 at CDM

VP Fellowship: AdebolaOlayinkaemail: aolayink@iwu.edu • TODAY! • There is an active only trip to Mugsys to get food to celebrate October birthdays! • Friday, October 29th • Come dressed up to the Halloween event and participate in the costume contest from 3:30-5:30! • Tuesday, November 2nd • Buffalo Wild Wings after the meeting with the Alpha Alpha chapter!

  6. Pledge Educator: Erin Brownemail: embrown00@gmail.com • Don't forget to attend at least one pledge meeting! There is only one left, so if you haven’t come, you need to come next week at 8:15. • If you are a pledge parent, make sure you go to a fellowship and a service event with your kid!

  7. Treasurer: Hayley Harrounemail: hharroun@iwu.edu • Today is the last day to pay dues. It is $70. If you don’t pay today, you’ll be on bad standing. • If you have issues paying $70, you need to either email me or talk to me after the meeting. • Halloween Costume Contest and Pumpkin Carving Friday Oct 29th 3:30-5:30 and Sat 30th 12-1:30 • Will need people to roast and extract pumpkin seeds, buy packs of carving knives, and encourage professor's to participate in costume contest (See Database) • We will need people to sell pumpkin seeds and pumpkins during the event. • Donate Bag of Candy and get fundraising hour on Sunday, October 31st • Committee, see me after the meeting!

  11. Old Business • Vote passed on reimbursing Maura for the supplies for passing out apple cider.

  12. New Business • Vote on reimbursment for the pledge service and fellowship activity: $27 and $16.55.

  13. News or Announcements • Come to the Orchestra Concert at 7:30 at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts. It’s $2 with your student I.D.
