  2. Artist Bio Alan Cheeseman has been in photography for 2 years at El Camino Fundamental High School. His main interests are fashion and music. He enjoys playing his ukulele when he’s not taking photos. He plans on going to American River College for 2 years and then to a 4-year college to major in nursing.

  3. My $tatement My concept is simple, yet diverse and different. What I have been doing is taking pictures of fashion in interesting views. I’ve been taking natural shots, poses, and abstract shots. My pictures include people and clothing that stands out, personalities that are expressed in their clothing, originality that is shown, and intense emotion. I feel like this project is much needed because I want to show the progression of fashion over the year and the creativity of it all. Things always change, and fashion is important because it mirrors the image of a community. It reflects lifestyles and the understanding of these lifestyles helps bring cultures together. The project has met its objectives by showing the originality of the topic, the importance of fashion, the need for individuality, and expression and emotion. I’ve spent my time in the urban areas, photographing heavily to get as many pictures possible. I feel that I have progressed as a person and an artist. I have done all of my pictures in digital. I’ve kept all of my pictures in a folder and I’m still deciding what I want to do with them. To recap, I photograph different views of fashion and its contrast to other areas. I have shown the effort put into it, the creativity of it, the individuality of it, and the expression of it. There are many aspects of street wear in general and I feel like I’ve shown the many aspects of it.
