  2. Anderson localization • Anderson, in a seminal paper in 1958, conjectured that beyond certain level of disorder in the electronic lattice: • localized electronic states develop • diffusion process stops • phase transition happens from metal to insulator

  3. Refractive index profile of disordered polymer fiber • The tip is etched in ethanol • Darker regions are PMMA, versus lighter PS sites • The image width of ~ Karbasi, et. al., Optics Letters 37, (2012)

  4. Transported images in p-ALOF versus a modified imaging fiber MSSIM=0.89 MSSIM=0.62 • The refractive index difference between the cores and common cladding is increased to 0.1 • (a) is much less pixelated than (b)
