Degree Requirements • Completion of: • A.A.S. or equivalent in a health related field • YSU Allied Health courses 30 hours • General Ed. Requirements Approx. 39 hours • Upper division hours 48 hours • Total hours 124 hrs. minimum Youngstown State University
How It Works • Approved general education and minor courses may be taken from any regionally accredited college or university and transferred into our program. • Students pay the fees associated with those institutions for these support courses. • Transfer credits will be evaluated and applied towards the degree as liberally as possible. Other Details • A preliminary evaluation of your transcript can be provided prior to application. Contact an advisor. • You may be able to begin taking YSU allied health courses prior to the completion of your A.A.S. However, completion of your AAS or hospital based training is mandatory in order to receive the BSAS in Allied Health. Youngstown State University
Other Details • Upon acceptance, you will be provided with a YSU ID and have all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of a YSU student, including use of on campus facilities. • Required books can be purchased online from the YSU bookstore. Youngstown State University
