L’argent européen • Since 2002, twelve European countries have been using a new currency: the euro (l’euro). These countries include France, as well as, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Finland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. The euro has the same value in all of these countries. It is also very convenient since you do not need to change money when you travel from one country to another.
