  2. The Holocaust was a sad time. • The Holocaust is when the Germans tried to kill all the Jews. • They did because they thought they were the source of the trouble. • Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi party.

  3. The French rescued a ton of Jews from being killed from the Nazis • They had so many Jews in France and saved almost all of them. • Those who didn’t help didn’t say a thing. • Other countries helped France help the Jews.

  4. Belgium was captured and tried to get all the Jews out alive. • One-third of Belgium Jews got away • In France a church saved Jewish children. • “ Belgium stood out for its display of secular and religious leadership during the Holocaust.

  5. Denmark helped thousand of Jews get away. • The Nazis respected Denmark so they left them alone. • This is how they helped Jews escape. • They sent the Jews to Sweden.

  6. The Holocaust was a sad time. • Adolf Hitler was a bad man • It was a important event.
