  2. Overall Status of Safety Campaign • What We’ve Done: • Safety Awareness Training for all employees completed • Safety Consultant hired to redesign work stations • Safety competition between teams • Rewritten policy manual to reflect new standards

  3. The Good News... • Accomplishments so far: • Improved safety scores • Fewer down time accidents • Less Workman’s Compensation cases • Less sick days

  4. The Bad News... • Behind self-imposed goals for down time accidents • Evaluations for the safety training sessions indicated that the sessions were too short • OSHA visit indicated that several areas need to come into compliance
