certification requirements • Standards of Conduct Exam • Advanced Exam • Basic and Intermediate Exams are not required • 4 required presentations • Students may certify either on-line or on paper • Scores are not required! Pass/Fail is ok • HSA and COD are optional
4 required presentations • Intake and Interview • Quality Review • Volunteer Site Procedures • Oregon Presentation
On-line by last day of class • The procedure is the same for Returning and New Volunteers • If a student completes all required exams and passes the test on-line, they will: • Print out the Volunteer Agreement • The Instructor will certify the exam • The Instructor will verify that the student has viewed the required four presentations
On-line by last day of class • The Instructor will send the Volunteer Agreement to Marisa at CASH Oregon along with the class roster • The Instructor will provide certification stickers on the last day of instruction
On paper by last day of class • If a student completes all required exams and passes the test on paper, they will: • Bring the completed exams to the last day of instruction • The student will also bring the filled out and signed Volunteer Agreement from the 6744 • The Instructor will validate that the student has viewed the required four presentations • The Instructor will grade and certify the student
On paper by last day of class • The Instructor will provide the student with a sticker • The Instructor will return the Volunteer Agreement to Marisa at Cash Oregon • Remember! We don’t need the score. Pass/fail is acceptable.
On-line after class • If a student completes all required exams and passes the test on-line after the last day of class, they will: • Electronically sign the Volunteer Agreement and then “print” a PDF • The student will be responsible for sending the PDF to Marisa at CASH Oregon • Marisa will confirm that the student has viewed the required four presentations, then certify the Volunteer Agreement • The student will be presented with a sticker at the tax site
On paper after class • If a student completes the exams on paper, they will: • Send the signed volunteer agreement and exams to Marisa • Marisa will grade the exams • Marisa will then certify the volunteer • The student will then be presented with a sticker at the tax site
