CBSE Released Names Of Disaffiliated And Downgraded Schools

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the names of schools that have been disaffiliated or degraded on March 27. According to the board's official release, surprise inspections of CBSE schools across the country to check compliance with laws and regulations released that a few schools were engaging in different malpractices. As a result, the decision was made to disaffiliate and degrade these schools.

CBSE Released Names Of Disaffiliated And Downgraded Schools DESCRIPTION The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the names of schools that have been disaffiliated or degraded on March 27. According to the board's official release, surprise inspections of CBSE schools across the country to check compliance with laws and regulations released that a few schools were engaging in different malpractices. As a result, the decision was made to disaffiliate and degrade these schools. "Pursuant to surprise inspections conducted in CBSE schools across the country to verify compliance with the provisions and norms contained in Affiliation and Examination Bye-laws, it was found that some schools were involved in various malpractices, including presenting dummy students, ineligible candidates, and improper record-keeping," the board stated. "After thorough inquiry, it has been decided to disaffiliate and downgrade these schools," the board specified. Five schools have been disaffiliated in Delhi, three in Uttar Pradesh, and two in each of Kerala, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. In addition, one school has been disaffiliated in Jammu & Kashmir, Dehradun, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, schools with degraded affiliations can be found in Delhi, Punjab, and Assam.
