  1. Introduction  You know that there are many reference tools in the library, but do you know when to use which tool?  Are you aware of the wealth of information you can obtain on the internet? Once you learn to navigate the internet you can access limitless reference sites and online bookstores. That means not only can you conduct research online, but you can also obtain information about any book without actually having the book inhand. At the end of our webquest, you'll be able to know what resources are available to you in the library and when to use each of them.

  2. Task As a Library Science Investigator in training, you will need to complete each of the three lessons on the process page. These lessons will help you learn more about the reference tools available to you both online and in the library. They will also teach you when to use each of these tools.  You will use both print and online resources to complete your tasks.   When you have successfully completed the three lessons, you will have earned your Investigator Badge and become a certified Library Science Investigator! Task As a Library Science Investigator in training, you will need to complete each of the three lessons on the process page. These lessons will help you learn more about the reference tools available to you both online and in the library. They will also teach you when to use each of these tools.  You will use both print and online resources to complete your tasks.   When you have successfully completed the three lessons, you will have earned your Investigator Badge and become a certified Library Science Investigator!
