AMTC Groupsite Common How-To’s 1 August 2011 Mitch Sayers
Registering • You will receive an invitation email from Groupsite. • You need to click on the link, create a password and then you will have the option to fill in your user profile. You can also do this later. • The site is found at http://amtc.groupsite.com
Uploading a File • From the main page, click on “Share”, and then select and click “File Cabinet”
Navigate to the Folder • Expand the “Classes” folder (or whichever folder is the target folder) by clicking on the (+) and click on the destination folder for the file.
Upload the File • Next, select “Upload” • Click “Choose File”, Navigate to the desired file to be uploaded and select “Open”
Upload the File • Then click “Upload”, and the file will be uploaded, and will then appear in the list of files in that folder.
Starting a Discussion • Hold your mouse over “Communicate” and select “Discussions” by clicking
Looking for Topics • Here you will see different topics to choose from • You can search for topics as shownbelow or click onan existing Forumand then discussion
Getting Your Information • You can click on an existing Topic or if after searching for the topic you are looking for and not finding what you need, you can “Create a New Topic”.
