Daily Life • There are 3 work shifts that are 8 hours each. Adults work 5 days a week and get 2 days off. Shifts change every 3 months, rotate schedules. • The shifts are 2 a.m.- 10 a.m., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. • Kids go to school Monday through Friday from 9 to 4. • Basic needs are in each city like a supermarket, blockbuster, fast food, salon, etc. • Kids can play outside or videogames
Religion • You’re free to practice whatever religion you want.
Education • You get basic schooling (K-12) and then during your 8th grade year you take a aptitude test to be placed in your future job. • Based on what job you score, those are the types of electives you get during high school. • College is optional, but mandatory for some of the higher level jobs. • If you don’t want to go to school or you drop out, then you get put into the military.
Economy • For employment, your job is picked during your schooling and you can start working at 16. • For money, you earn wage is based on what time you work, the more undesirable hours get paid more and you get bonuses for excelling at your job. • Everything is done through a identification debit card. Keeps track of casino visits, money, criminal record, basic identification, rewards.
Rituals and Traditions • Christmas or whatever applies in December. • Thanksgiving: Everyone comes to the capital for a large feast or to their town community center. • New Years is in January. • May 24th is Founder’s Day (Equivalent to 4th of July) • Marriage, Birthdays, Funerals • Day of Rest
Symbols • Tree for Home, Family, Life, Capital, and Eco-Friendly. • Flower for beauty in individuality and when grouped together like in a bouquet.
Military Forces • Have the basic Land, Air, and Water branches and an elite task force. • Ways to be a part of the military include dropping out of school, determined by skills/aptitude test, when someone has more than 6 children. • Given some part of the budget, but increased when needed.
Law and Order • Police force in each city, headquarters in the capital. • Capital punishment (Death Penalty) for murderers. • Basic punishment is an eye for an eye. Example: If you steal something you have to either have to pay for it and go to jail, return it unused and go to jail, or person stolen from gets to take things until it adds up in value and you go to jail. • When a police call is made the police and EMT go to crime scene. Firefighters only go when necessary. • Basic laws to prevent chaos and disorder and criminal activity.
Transportation • There is a monorail system connecting each town to the capital and each town to the two adjacent to it. Monorail is run by electricity, not gas. There are two tracks between each city between the capitals allowing trains to run in two different directions. • Inside the towns everyone rides bikes/scooters/skateboards/rollerblades to get around town.
Entertainment • There is an entertainment district in the capital where it features many items. • There are clubs. 18 and under clubs. Also 18+ clubs. • A movie theatre, with IMAX. • A building for the arts. (Theatre, music, etc.) • A casino (with limited access). • A lottery for prizes, not always money. • And a large sports arena that houses all sports.
Form of Government • A mix between a democracy and Parliamentary system. • People vote for officials (City mayors, Representatives, and Capital President). • There are the Founding Families (Royal Families) that act as figureheads with no real political power.
Marital Arrangements • Free to marry whoever you want to appease all ways of life. • Family structure is the traditional family. Kids live with parents and visit with aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. • Birth is done the traditional way or the Jar System for those who don’t want to go through the natural process. • You must be married to have babies and you can have no more than 6 children.
