  3. WHATISTHENEEDOFBASIX CERTIFICATE? Ifyouwanttoconstructanewresidentialdwellinglikea dualoccupancy, singlehouse, townhouseormulti-unit, thenyoumayrequireaBasixcertificate. Ifthereisaneedtoalter, enlargeorextendbuildingswith morethanonedwellingotherthanhostelsandmotels, thenBasixisneeded. Atlast, whenyouareundertakingadevelopmentforthe purposeofbuildingalargeswimmingpoolorspa, then Basixcertificateisessential.

  4. WHYSHOULDYOUOPTFOR BASIXREPORT? Todecreasecleanwaterconsumption by40% Toreducegreenhousegasemissionsby 40% Tosetstandardsforthethermal performanceofthehouse

  5. WHATISTHECOSTOFBASIXREPORT? TheBasixcertificatecostincludestherequiredcostsofthe Basixreportaswellasthecostoftheassessment.
