Genesis 22:12 “And He said, ‘Do not stretch out your hand against the lad, and do nothing to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.’”
God instructed Abraham to take Isaac to Mt. Moriah and sacrifice his son, Isaac… Isaac never forgot that experience and learned on that day a lesson that transformed his life…
Genesis 12:8 “Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord.”

Please separate from me: if to the left, then I will go to the right…’ And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the valley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere… Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled in the cities of the valley and moved his tents as far as Sodom.”

Summary and Conclusion: Make no mistake, parents who prepare their kids by developing the right self image, by modeling the right trust/faith, by building the right kind of legacy are on the biblical track. These are the kind of parents who will make the difference in time and eternity. These are the parents who really do love their kids!
