Welcome and Opening Remarks by Salvano Signing of MoU between ISDR and CADS Presentations: Part 1: Local Governments presentations from Albay, The Philppines; South Africa; Pune,India and Cataluna, Spain. The presentation higlighted the good practices of their offices, despite the hazards and vulnerabilities. (See power point presentations) Part 2: Presentations from the UN Agencies, UNOSAT, UNDP and ILO and Provention. They highligheted their programs and services to the Local governments. 4. Day 1. Part 3: Presentation of various global, regional and national Mechanism for networking (See presentation). Introduction of the objectives, agenda, schedule, logistical arrangements. Part 4. Workshops: Refer to guideline in the agenda: (Summary of workshop results, Day 1, and summary of Day 2, below and Summary of Evaluation by participants.
