  3. Students: Teachers: Read a short book and retell the story in their own words Administer the assessment. Score oral reading for accuracy. Score retellings for comprehension. Find the highest range at which the student reads with both acceptable accuracy and comprehension. Administrated: In the month of May to grade 2

  7. Reading Recovery Performance These are students who had Reading Recovery in grade 1 AND took the DRA in grade 2 the following year.

  11. Migration of Students K-3 (2007) • 142 different individuals have been members of this third grade class. There are currently 95 enrolled in the class. • 83 members of this class had scores on the grade 2 DRA. • Of those 83, 81 are still enrolled. • 73 members of the class have been enrolled at BCEMS since kgn. • 42 members of the class have been enrolled in a Barre school (including Barre Town since Kgn.) • 4 members of this class left BCEMS and returned between Kgn. and the beginning of grade 3.
