Lets try a trip for May 2014 • It does not matter how many we have sign up… • Just need to have…Confirmed 4-8 crew…Trip will be $1795 each…Deposits $1000 by Feb 28th…Balance $795 three weeks prior to sailing… • We have the choice of several boats depending the number of people on the crew. We will have two person cabins, so it helps if you have a friend coming with you. If not, I will match you with another crew person to share the cabin.

  20. Cost per person… $1795.00 • Included • Monohullfor 7 days… • Provisions for breakfast, lunch and Happy Hour… • Some alcoholic beverages… • 5 dinners on shore for all crew approximately cost $50 ea included…

  21. Not included … • Airfare to St Thomas, US VI. STT – cost average $650 pp • Ferry transfer to Tortola, BVI, cost average $60 pp round trip • Additional alcoholic beverages • All additional expenses for any activity on shore selected.

  22. Crew members… • All cabins are double occupancy • You can chose to room with your wife, girlfriend or other… • You can chose to room with someone elsegoing on trip… • There may be small cabin with hatch from boat foredeck for a single…

Crew limited… • Each trip can have 4 or 8 crew. • This is to insure everyone has fun and space on the trip. • We can plan additional trips for others interested. • Your $1000 deposit will hold your spot on any trip. • Refundable, 50% of deposit 6 weeks prior to sailing. • Or fully refundable if we have a replacement. • Please be sure you can and want to go before you place deposit.

  24. Getting there… • I will book my flight first and let everyone know what flight and seats I have. You book your flights on the same flight. • It is required you book same airline and flight or a flight that will arrive in STT within 30 minutes of the flight I have booked. • We will all take ferry together from St Thomas to Tortola. • We will take taxi direct to the dock to board our boat. • We will board our boat and have our welcome aboard party • We will sail the next morning to our first chosen destination.

  25. Getting back… • We will be turning in the boat early enough to catch the noon ferry back to St Thomas. • Then direct from the ferry to the airport for our flights home.

Planning… • We will have continued meetings for planning the trip & destinations. • I recommend you research the British Virgin Islands and get an idea what you want to do and see. • We want to cover as much as we can. • Maybe you are interested in learning to sail. |I will have day sailing on Ray Hubbard for you to learn.Also we might have some trips to Kemah for sailing as well.Watch the Meetup groups for dates. • There are several different ASA Sailing schools in the DFW area.
