Instructions: • In a moment you will be divided into teams. When your team gathers sit in a circle to make game play easier. You will be given a playing board. Printed at the top of the game board is a word made from a combination of a prefix/base or root word/ suffix. The first player must change one word part (only 1 part) to form a new word. S/he will then pass the game board to the person on his/her left. The next member must make a new word by changing only one part of the word the previous player just made. Continue passing the playing board to the person on your left with each player changing only one word part until a real word can no longer be formed. Team members may help each other think of possible words. After 10 minutes of play the playing boards for each team will be compared. The team which formed the most real words will be the class champions.
