Project Inspire is NVIDIA’s annual community service event held in place of a holiday party. It brings together employees, their families, and the community to help transform local institutions. Since 2011, NVIDIA has focused its efforts towards improving high-need schools in East San Jose’s Alum Rock Union School District.

$ NVIDIA’S IMPACT ON EAST SAN JOSE SCHOOLS Project Inspire is NVIDIA’s annual community service event held in place of a holiday party. It brings together employees, their families, and the community to help transform local institutions. Since 2011, NVIDIA has focused its efforts towards improving high-need schools in East San Jose’s Alum Rock Union School District. AS OF DECEMBER 2015 Our work will have impacted: 3,000+ students 87% are in low-income households. 10 children Low-income working families are those earning less than twice the federal poverty line. Who comprise: 29% of those in the Alum Rock Union School District. Through partnerships with six district schools: Dorsa Fischer Middle School Ocala Middle School Elementary School Painter Elementary School Renaissance Academy Sheppard Middle School We’ll have contributed: ~$3Million 4,500 NVIDIA volunteers Including: 22,500 volunteer hours Our volunteers will have completed: 260+ Murals 350+ College pennants 140+ Picnic tables & benches 45 Garden beds And used: 10,000+ Paintbrushes 750+ Gallons of paint 575+ Pieces of 2x4 225+ Pounds of screws Project Inspire events have also improved important community resources that serve the Alum Rock Union School District community: HISTORY PARK OF SAN JOSE 100,000 visitors per year VEGGIELUTION & EMMA PRUSCH PARK 200,000 visitors per year Learn more about the Project Inspire story at: www.nvidia.com/inspire
