  2. Introduction • Moved the CCD locations (leaving all optics in orignal location • Raytraced using Zemax to calculate the average FWHM of the image • Used the Case XV optical design • Should not be sensitive to the design (all are f/2.5)

  5. Conclusion • A ±30µm change • degrades the R from 0.6 to 1.0 arcsecond • degrades the G from 1.0 to 1.2 arcsecond • This brings the perfect optical design plus detector location to Eric’s budget • I would not be comfortable with more than ±30µm as a CCD specification • Less would be better
