  1. Logging in to RefWorks Off-Campus for the first time. Narrated by Stefanie McAllister ISU EAF

  2. Get to RefWorks by: 1. Connect to ISU System via https://webvpn.ilstu.edu 2. Make sure to click START under Network Connect. 3. Go to the RefWorks page located on the Milner Library web site- read it http://www.library.ilstu.edu/page/1266 4. Click on RefWorks User Registration and Login

  3. Log in: Group code RWIllStUthis lets RefWorks know you are with ISU.

  4. Make sure that RW Identifies you as ISU user. Click on New to RefWorks.

  5. Create your account • Use your first name for your user name. • User your ULID as the log in • Use any password • Use your ISU email address

  6. You are in! Look Right and see your User name and ISU!

  7. Next, you must: • View the Tutorial • Wait, did I ask you to view the Tutorial? • No, really, did I forget to ask you to view the tutorials, yes, well, then I need to remind you to view the tutorials!

  8. Future logins: • Go to refworks.com • Click log in • Under the Remote Access Tab, type the group code RWIllStU • rwillstu works also! • Login with your user name and password • Happy Researching!
