  1. Battle With Grendel By: Katie Hatfield

  2. Heard how Grendel filled nights with horror, and quickly commanded a boat fitted out, Proclaiming that he’d go to that famous king. Coming of Beowulf

  3. Then darkness fell, Grendel went up to Herot. Grendel’s first attack

  4. He moved quickly through the cloudy night, sliding silently towards that gold-shining hall. Grendel Comes Hoping to Kill.

  5. Then stepped to another still body, clutched at Beowulf with his claws. Grendal VS Beowulf

  6. Their courage was great but all wasted because they couldn’t harm grendel. Beowulf’s attempt to kill Grendel

  7. Snapping, muscle and body split and broke. The Death of Grendel

  8. Beowulf hung Grendel’s arm high upon the rafters for the towns people to see. Beowulf’s Victory

  9. Beowulf ended the grief, the suffering, and the sorrow of the towns people. Town’s People Victory
