Who is Mr. Jones?. A Little Bit About Mr. Jones. I am originally from a little town in south Georgia called Jacksonville. I was raised on a farm where my family grew corn, cotton, peanuts, watermelons, cantaloupes, wheat, oats, soybeans, timber, cattle, swine, and some goats.

A Little Bit About Mr. Jones • I am originally from a little town in south Georgia called Jacksonville. • I was raised on a farm where my family grew corn, cotton, peanuts, watermelons, cantaloupes, wheat, oats, soybeans, timber, cattle, swine, and some goats. • I am the 5th generation of my family to work in agriculture and the 3rd generation to work in the education field. My great-grandfather actually owned a one room school that is still in my family.
Mr. Jones’ Education • I graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, Ga. with my A.S. in Agriculture Education in 2012. • I graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S.A. in Agriculture Education in 2014. It’s a family thing. • Glory to ole Georgia!!! GO DAWGS!!!
Mr. & Mrs. Jones • My wife is Mrs. Kerri Jones. • We have been married since June 8th, 2013. • She is originally from Clanton, Al. • Our daughter will be here somewhere around December 22nd.
Mr. Jones’ Other Job • I am a preacher. • I answered the call to preach at the age of 19. • I currently serve as the Junior Youth Pastor at Summit Holiness Church in Millbrook, Al. • I have just finished a term as District 2 Youth Director for the Calvary Holiness Association in Georgia. • On the side I also like to play Bluegrass.
Agriculture Experience • My SAE in high school was swine production. • I have worked in many aspects of the cotton industry; from harvesting to research. Cotton is one of my favorite crops to work with. • I have worked in agricultural research on the private and public levels.
Agriculture Experience Cont. • In the area of livestock I have mainly worked with swine, cattle, goats, and chickens but I have also worked some with horses. • I have also been stomped, ran over, threw, bit, butted, and horned by all of the afore mentioned animals.
My Home Town • My home town is Jacksonville, Ga. • It was founded in 1807 and my family has lived there for around 180 years. • It is home to the World Record Large Mouth Bass & the State Record Non-Typical Deer (killed about 2 miles from my house).
