  1. Overview of GCN/MCN/SCF • GCN (Global Carribbean Network) a company in the Loret Group was selected by Guadeloupe Regional Council to Implement and manage the submarine cable network project. Investment of 25.4 M€. RFS July 2006. • MCN (Middle Caribbean Network) Regional Council of Guadeloupe, Martinique, the European Union, ECTEL, the World Bank and the ACP Digital association agreed to extend the project to Martinique, with a branch to Dominica, thus creating MCN. Investment of 21 M€. RFS Dec 2006. • SCF (Southern Caribbean Fiber) will complete the construction to Trinidad and purchase from GCN and MCN to resell entire regional capacity. Investment of 40 M€. RFS Q2 2007. • Extensions to the North (Haiti / DR) and South (Guyana, Suriname & French Guyana) currently under negotiation.
