Battery Replacement Procedure For Gekko, Vyper, Cobra & Vytec. Remove Retaining Ring. Push down on retaining ring Turn CW and remove retaining ring. Remove Battery Cover & O-ring. Remove Spacer & Battery. Use Only Suunto Battery Kits. Always replace o-ring when replacing battery!.

  1. Battery Replacement Procedure For Gekko, Vyper, Cobra & Vytec

  2. Remove Retaining Ring • Push down on retaining ring • Turn CW and remove retaining ring

  3. Remove Battery Cover & O-ring

  4. Remove Spacer & Battery

  5. Use Only Suunto Battery Kits • Always replace o-ring when replacing battery!

  6. Install New Battery & Spacer • Install new battery under contact • Insert spacer

  7. Install O-ring & Battery Cover • Lightly lubricated o-ring • Place battery cover on top of battery

  8. Install Retaining Ring • Insert thumb thru retaining ring • Push down on battery cover • Align retaining ring over battery cover • Turn CCW to lock into place

  9. Battery Replacement Procedure For D3 & Mosquito

  10. Remove Battery Door and Battery • Use quarter • 1/8 turn CCW • Loosen battery door and remove battery from under contact

  11. Use Only Suunto Battery Kit

  12. Install Battery & New Battery Door • Reverse order
