  5. 第一节 报刊政论文的特点 • 1.报刊政论文(包括政治、经济、军事、法律及社会文体等专论)旨在阐述某种观点,具有一定的说服力,在性质上不同于力求客观传递信息的新闻报道。 • 2.一般说来,报刊政论文由鲜明的论点、深入的阐发和概括性的结论三部分组成。逻辑性强,结构严谨。这也不同于那种按新闻价值大小安排的“倒金字塔”式的。段与段之间无必然联系的新闻报道。 • 3.在语言风格方面,注意严肃的论述语气、用语正式,常用难词、长词、长句和复杂句。

We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.

  49. Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions - who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account - to spend wisely, reform bad habits and do our business in the light of day - because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.
