  1. What Makes BLDC Fans Long Lasting to Use? ********************************************************************* In the fan sector, BLDC fans are indeed revolutionary technology. Smart super-efficient BLDC fans will soon replace old inefficient induction motor fans. BLDC fans are prevalent in today’s energy-conscious world since they use less electricity than standard induction fans and are consequently referred to as energy-saving fans. Because no brush is needed to transport energy between the rotor and the stator in a BLDC motor, it is referred to as a “brushless DC motor.” BLDC Motor The rotor of BLDC ceiling fans is made of a permanent magnet. The magnetic force pushes the rotor to rotate when two polarities (for instance, S & S, N & N) are present on the rotor and stator. The polarity in the stator is changed for continuous rotation in the rotor. The same contradiction occurs on the rotor and stator each time, which aids in rotational movement in the rotor. Finally, the inverter runs the motor after receiving a signal from the Microcontroller. Because no heat is generated in a BLDC motor, the lifespan of ceiling fan bearings is extended; also, there are fewer chances of winding failure due to the use of high-thickness copper cable inside the coil. Commutation is a rotational movement technique that involves altering the direction of the current in the motor. Because there are no brushes in a BLDC motor, the driving algorithm completes the commutation. The key benefit is that commutators in brushed motors can wear out over time due to mechanical contact; this is not the case with BLDC motors, making them more durable for prolonged use.
