  2. Getting ready… 2 • At the end of the course you will be creating a Final Media Project. • For this you will select a topic of your choice for further exploration. This project could take the form of a blog, a collection of podcasts (audio or video), a Facebook page, a website, a short film or documentary, etc. • The final project should be personal and an on-going undertaking during the term. You may work individually or in small groups. You will be evaluated based on your presentation and the analysis of your topic. • The Lion King Deconstruction Project is a way to get ready for the Final Project by exploring possible media platforms to communicate a message.

  3. Prezi 3 • An update to power point, this presentation tool modernizes and updates how to share information.

  4. Facebook 4 • You could use Facebook to create a group and newsfeed information.

  5. Podcasting 5 • A podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication.
