Preparing yourself to Stop Smoking • Try to avoid negative thoughts about smoking. • Try to think of some reasons why you want to smoke. • Develop strong personal feelings for quitting like for your family, kids, and for your own self. • Then prepare yourself physically. Drink more fluids, do some exercises, and more rest.
Cut down the number of cigarettes you smoke • Try to smoke only a 3rd of a pack or a half of a pack. • Make a chart to help you to cut down. • Change your eating habits will also cut down your number of cigarettes each day • Also reach for a glass of juice or some other drink • Cutting down can help you quit, but its not a substitute for quitting.
Knowing What to expect • All the withdrawal symptoms are temporary. • They only last about 1-2 weeks. • Quitting isn't easy but it is possible. • You will need allot of will power, family, and friends by going through this symptoms
Find New Habbits • Pay attention to your appearance. Look and feel sharp. • Stretch More • Get plenty of rest • Play sports • Work on something you wanted to do for awhile.
Woman and there kids ! • Pregnant smokers can have a baby with some surd of disease. • If you smoke in front of a child it would be like he/she smoked 500 packs of cigarette. • You and your kids can have cancer from smoking and even worse second hand smoke.
