Space Management Spaceis in the form of buildings, tunnels, roadworks, outside areas… and their subdivisions, ie offices, halls, labs, workshops, parking lots etc… Spaceisowned by CERN CERN allocatesspace to departments, groups, teams, experimentson the basis of a justified and ongoingneed. Space managers receive the mandate fromtheirdepartmentheads to coordinatespace allocation and monitor space usage in theirdepartments, and to coordinatespace allocation at CERN level. Spaceis a valuableresourcewhich must bemanaged.

  3. ABP Office situation Over 150 staff, fellows, students, associates, visitingcollaborators, honorarymembers… About 100 offices and about 1600 m2 ABP offices are all on Meyrin site,and very PS-centric(6, 8, 9, 10, 17, 18, 19, 561, 628)

Oncoming change… • 628 isrented and to beliberated by Sept. 2014.13 persons to berelocated, still no identified destination. • Trying to expand ABP in 18/19 across the PS courtyard via the bridge. • Two large open space offices for honorarymembers in 37 (PSB) • This will free some (limited) space in 561 (centre-anneau)
